Evidence for shipping, fuel
and sanctions work.
Each check reconciles your own records against the rule that applies: the war clause, the sanctions article, the regulation's annex. It shows what does not add up, then seals the result, so the owner, the buyer, the club, the bank or the authority can verify it offline without having to trust us.
How it works
Records in. A sealed answer out.
- Your records
- The exports you already have: invoices and charter parties, AIS tracks, bunker delivery notes, tank and gauging records, proofs of sustainability, deal documents. One program runs on your machine, offline, with no network calls.
- Checked against the rule
- Each finding names the rule it comes from and the records behind it, for example the clause, the Commission FAQ, the annex or guide M-10. Where the records are consistent, it says so.
- Sealed
- The result is signed with Ed25519, the plain-language summary included, and every input file is identified by its SHA-256 hash. Change one number in an input and the check fails.
- Verified by the other side
- With the one-file verifier that ships with each product, or in a browser at /verify. Nothing is uploaded.
The checks
Eight checks, one way of working.
Each one stands on its own. The sample next to each is a PDF that opens in any reader. The readable report is on the page, and the sealed file plus every input is attached inside. All samples use simulated data.
Checks every additional war-risk premium, kidnap-and-ransom and crew-bonus line an owner rebills. Each line is set against the vessel's AIS track, the JWC listed area in force on those dates, the underwriter's note and no-claims bonus, and the war clause (CONWARTIME / VOYWAR). It shows, line by line, what is not supported.
Checks each Hormuz transit for contact with the PGSA, PGMIC or HormuzSafe: the track against the Iranian lanes, AIS broadcasts, insurance, payments (including "donations"), messages and the master's declaration. It seals an attestation only for a clean transit. Built around OFAC FAQ 1249 and the 24 August 2026 alert.
Builds the seller's file under Article 3q of Regulation 833/2014. It covers the buyer's due diligence and beneficial owners, red flags and how each was mitigated, the MoA clauses and the notification (LNG tankers too, since July 2026). It then monitors the vessel's AIS after delivery and keeps a register of all disposals.
Assembles, per cargo, the evidence the Commission's FAQ describes: crude receipts by origin, the 60-day window before the bill of lading, and line segregation. It works from the refinery's own records and leaves a slot for the independent surveyor. It flags crude from refineries the EU has listed (Kulevi, from 25 January 2027).
Builds the per-import origin dossier for the EU's phase-out of Russian gas and LNG, from contracts and amendments, the vessel's track and ship-to-ship transfers, hub tank lineage and mixtures. It also keeps a calendar of submission deadlines.
Recalculates a ship's FuelEU balance from its bunker delivery notes, proofs of sustainability and voyages (Annexes I, II and IV) and compares it with the booked figure. It catches surplus pooled beyond what the ship has, methane slip below the default without a certificate, and biofuel proofs that would count as fossil.
Checks a supplier's biofuel batches the way the independent auditor must under produktforskriften chapter 3 and guide M-10: proofs of sustainability, certificates along the chain, and mass balance per site. It then recalculates the road, sea and other mandates from the batches that hold.
Splits a bill-of-lading-to-outturn difference into load-port, in-transit and discharge differences. It works from the ship's gauging, tank tables and vessel experience factor, so a paper shortage shows up as paper.
Said first
What these are, and what they are not.
- Pre-release
- Every check here has run on simulated data only. The first real cases will be pilots. That is why the pilot is free, and why every result can be verified without trusting us.
- Not advice
- They reconcile records against the rule. They are not legal advice, an audit or a sanctions determination. Counsel, the auditor, the verifier or the authority decides, and every sealed file says so.
- Alongside, not instead
- They complement the surveyor, the accredited verifier and the statutory auditor. They show early what those people will look for.
- Who builds them
- One person in Trondheim, the same one who answers your mail. An independent review is planned and not yet done.
